Gulf of Mannar National Park is 560 sq km. located on the surface. 160 km from Thoothukudi to Dhanushkodi, this park spread across the length. It has a wide variety of marine life and plants in the oceans and beaches.
- Gulf of Mannar Biosphere Reserve is one of the six areas selected for the action plan aimed at protecting the future community, considering the threat level and biodiversity.
